GOMEL, 26 April (BelTA) – The 7th international festival, Land under White Wings, opens today in Mozyr, BelTA learnt from the organizing committee.
The children’s forum will gather young talents from Belarus, CIS and non-CIS countries.
The opening ceremony will take place at the Palace of the Mozyr Oil Refinery in the evening on 26 April. Partaking in the gala concert will be guests and prize-holders of the previous festivals. The program of the forum will include contests of young vocalists, vocal bands, and dance companies on 27-28 April. We are Belarusians concert will present the Pesnyary ensemble and the soloists of the Mulyavin National Music Art Centre.
The forum will end up with a gala concert, In a Friendship Round Dance, on 29 April where the winners are to be named and awarded.
The Land under White Wings festival was first held in 1998. Its primary objective is to develop and popularize the Belarusian national culture, esthetic education among children, strengthen and expand international relations, familiarize with the national culture of other participating states, support talented children and develop the Golden Ring of Gomel Oblast tourist route.
