Production installations of Mozyr Oil Refinery are fully loaded, company representatives told BelTA. Every 24 hours the plant processes up to 32,000 tons of oil. The workload is expected to stay the same till the end of the month, thus enabling the company to refine at least 940,000-945,000 tons of oil in June.
According to the company's chief engineer Vladimir Sobol, this year's performance looks favourable. All tasks the company was assigned are fulfilled. In January-May 2006 the crude intake made 4.4 million tons, 8.7 per cent up on the respective period of last year. The commodity output went up by 13.4 per cent. The company shipped almost 900,000 tons of gasoline and 1.2 million tons of diesel fuel to customers.
This year the company plans to increase the industrial production by 9.5-10 per cent. The company's retooling plan for 2006-2010 provides for increasing the oil refining volume up to 12 million tons a year.
Mozyr Oil Refinery open joint-stock company was commissioned in 1975. The company mainly produces automobile petrol, various fuels, including ecologically harmless diesel fuel with sulphur content under 0.005 per cent and 0.001 per cent, furnace oil, household gas, commercial butane, illuminating oil, bitumens. Since 2003 all the products have been compliant with ISO 9001:2000 quality standards.
