NBA team visit to Belarus — first step in improving Belarusian-American relations
The visit of American basketball players to Belarus is the first step in improving relations of the two countries, NBA team coach William Alecson told BelTA.
According to the source, the recent friendly matches with the Belarus national team in Minsk and Gomel were very exciting. "People treated us with great respect and hospitality. The visit to Belarus changed our lives. All our players agree with that," added the coach.
Let us remind you, the international friendly match of NBA and Belarusian basketball teams took place at Gomel Game Sport Palace on June 25. The NBA team consisted of former professional players Paul Grant, David Wood, Justin Miller and others. The spectacular performance was accompanied by concerts and shows by Belarusian gymnasts and ended by Belarus victory 93:87.
