Nine counties to take part in 5th Gomel investment forum
Representatives of nine countries will take part in the 5th Gomel investment forum on May 22-23, BelTA learnt from the economy committee of the Gomel oblast executive committee. Taking part in the forum will be delegations of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Poland and Austria.
This year’s investment forum will be the most representative in its history. Attending it will be almost 200 chief executives and officials of companies and enterprises, financial institutions and embassies accredited in Belarus.
The Gomel oblast will present around 30 investment projects. The on-site sessions will focus on such areas as processing industry and agriculture, tourism, services and trade, construction and power engineering. The forum will also feature a roundtable meeting and exhibition-fair “Spring in Gomel 2008”.
The Gomel investment forum is organized by the oblast executive committee, Gomel regional agency of economic development.
