Oblast leg of national competition among youth harvester teams starts in Gomel
Over 300 combine harvester teams of Gomel oblast are taking part in the oblast leg of the national competition for the best youth combine harvester team.
About 10 teams work in every region, BelTA has been told in the oblast committee of the public association Belarusian republican youth union. Every team comprises one operator and assistant and also a driver of a grain transport vehicle.
The competition will be held in two rounds. The first one will encourage the teams who have harvested more than 500 tons of grain while the second – the highest results. The winners will be honoured at the regional and later – at the oblast level. Best young harvesters will be awarded diplomas and prizes.
The oblast leg of the competition among youth teams is organized with assistance of the committee for agriculture and foodstuffs of the Gomel oblast executive committee and the oblast committee of the public association Belarusian republican youth union.
