Official portal of Gomel oblast executive committee sent in service on Internet
The official portal of the Gomel oblast executive committee (gomel-region.by) has been sent in service on the Internet. It has been developed by specialists from the ideological department of the Gomel oblast executive committee in collaboration with the Belarusian news agency BelTA which provides information resources for the site.
The portal includes dozens of sections providing an insight into various spheres of life of this south-eastern Belarusian region: authorities, economy, culture and arts, science, education, etc. Besides, the portal hosts Internet sites of all Gomel oblast regions with an in-depth coverage of their history, geography, industry and the work of the local government bodies.
News reports on the portal home page, as well as on pages of all regional sites, are constantly updated.
According to the specialists of the ideological department, during the upcoming month the portal will be accumulating information. After this the portal will be officially presented to the public.
