Over 30,000 schoolchildren to improve health in school day-care camps in Gomel region

Over 30,000 schoolchildren will be able to go to improve their health in school day-care camps in Gomel region this summer. Head of the pedagogical department of Gomel region administration’s education board Lyubov Voinova told BelTA, all in all there will be 1,300 such camps in the region. The day-care will offer food and entertainment such as interest groups and sport teams, intellectual games as well as excursions over “Gomel Region Golden Ring”. Lyubov Voinova believes, the day-care camps are especially popular with the region’s residents as this form of recreation can be combined with round-the-clock care camps or sanatoriums later. The number of such camps in Gomel region increases every year. Besides, during the summer vacations a wide network of specialised summer camps will function. For example, around 800 children will go to the regional tourist mobile camp in June. Similar camps will be available in district towns of the region.
