Republican seminar to be held in Gomel to discuss intensification of work of teams of police helpers
Participants of the republican seminar in Gomel will discuss issues on intensifying the work of teams of police helpers.
As BelTA was informed in the press service of the interior department of the Gomel oblast executive committee, tomorrow Gomel will play host to the republican seminar on intensifying the work on involving citizens in law enforcement activities, functioning of territorial and production voluntary teams of police helpers, the activity of headmen of settlements, the councils of public law enforcement centers. The seminar will gather together heads of the regional crime prevention offices of the interior departments of all oblasts of Belarus, leaders of voluntary teams of police helpers, pro-rectors of establishments of higher education for educational work and representatives of the company Belgosstrakh.
According to the press service, participants of the seminar will study track record of public organizations in Gomel oblast and headmen of settlements in Brest oblast. Moreover, they plan to discuss issues on involving young people in the law enforcement movement, the order of obligatory insurance of voluntary teams of police helpers and the role of local authorities in this work.
Within the framework of the seminar its participants will visit public law enforcement center #5 of the interior department of the Zheleznodorozhniy district of Gomel and the children’s military-sports center “Vympel”.
