Scottish Aberdeen is interested in youth cooperation with Gomel
A delegation of the Scottish city of Aberdeen has arrived in Gomel. The delegation includes members of the public association Friends of Gomel.
The two cities established friendly relations in 1990. Since then Aberdeen and Gomel have implemented a lot of joint projects in educational and sport areas. Educational establishments of the two cities also established close cooperation.
The main goal of the visit is to establish relations between youth organizations, implementation of the joint projects dealing with the youth leisure time, job placement, adaptation in the society.
The visit of the delegation will be running through March 26. The foreign guests will get familiar with the work of a number of establishments of education, culture and sports, industrial companies of Gomel.
