Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno has been listed in the reporter status in the Times Higher Education (THE) 2024 world ranking, BelTA learned from the press service of the university.
The 20th edition of Times Higher Education includes 1,904 universities from 108 territory, making it the largest and most diverse ranking to date. A further 769 universities are listed with “reporter” status.
Belarusian State University has been ranked by Times Higher Education for nine years.
Six Belarusian universities have reporter status: Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, Belarusian State Medical University, University of Civil Protection at the Emergencies Ministry of Belarus, Gomel State University and Gomel State Medical University.
The ranking is based on the WUR 3.0 methodology which has 18 performance indicators across five pillars:research environment, research quality, teaching, international outlook and industry.
