Student groups of Gomel oblast to work in Krasnodar Krai of Russia
The first student groups of the Gomel Oblast Committee of the Belarusian Republican Union of Youth (BRUY) have started to work in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation, BelTA learnt from Alexander Bolsunovskiy, the commissar of the oblast staff of student groups of the youth organization.
According to the commissar, specialized service teams composed of 15 students work at the All-Russian Children’s Center “Orlionok” (Tuapse) and at the Children’s Center “Zhemchuzhina Rossii” (Anapa). In July the teams will be replaced by new groups of the Gomel youth.
According to Alexander Bolsunovskiy, the maximum number of student groups, which are specialized in construction, agricultural, servicing, educational, ecological works, will start to work in the oblast, in the country and outside Belarus in July after summer examinations.
This year, around 6 thousand students of universities and secondary schools of the Gomel oblast will be engaged in 120 student groups set up by the Gomel Oblast Committee of the Belarusian Republican Union of Youth. Young people will work in agro-towns, in the zoo located in the town of Oktyabrskiy, reconstruct one of the ancient facility of the region – the Yurovichi Monastery (the Kalinkovichi region). Students of the Gomel State Engineering College will take part in the construction of the Sports Center “Minsk-Arena”.
