Ten gold coins dating back to Nikolai II epoch found in Mozyr region

During sowing campaign in the agricultural cooperative society Romanovka of the Mozyr region ten zolotniks dating back to Nikolai II times were found. According to the information given to BelTA by head of the agricultural cooperative society Romanovka Anatoly Alexandronov, during a lunch break one of machine-operators found two gold coins. After digging on the place of the find 8 more coins were found. As Anatoly Alexdescribed described the coins, they had a depiction of Nikolai II on one side and a double eagle on the other. The edge of the coins bears the inscription “zolotnik”. Anatoly Alexandronov told that before the Second World War there was a village on the place of the field which was burned down by the Nazis in 1943. Anatoly Alexandronov passed the find to the Mozyr regional department for fight against economic crime. At the moment the coins are undergoing an expertise which will determine whether they have any value.
