Third Gomel investment forum to gather over 160 representatives from 10 countries
Over 160 representatives from 10 countries will take part in the 3rd Gomel investment forum. Among them will be officers of diplomatic missions, which are accredited in Belarus, businessmen, bank directors and heads of other financial structures of Slovakia, Serbia and Montenegro, China, Germany, Israel and Russia, BelTA learnt from the economy committee of the region administration.
The forum will offer several tens of investment projects involving foreign capital to the forum participants. The largest ones are construction of an entertainment centre in Gomel, a supermarket, a hotel, a parking lot. Foreign investors may be interested in the presentation of reconstruction of a macadam plant in Lelchitsy district, which has a large granite field, as well as proposals to set up production of high-tech equipment and processing of recoverable resources.
The forum programme includes a plenary session with consequent section sessions. In particular, the sessions will air projects related to tourism, processing industry, and the development of scientific and technical cooperation. Later on the date a roundtable sitting will be held.
Participants of the investment forum will take part in a solemn opening of the exhibition “Gomel Spring 2006”.
