This year's first triplets have been born in Gomel region. The mother of two girls and a boy is Tatiana Repina, 25, resident of the town of Khoiniki.
A spokesperson for the maternity ward of the regional clinical hospital told BelTA, Tatiana Repina had successfully undergone abdominal cesarean section. Now she and the babies are feeling well. The infants weigh 2820, 2390, and 2700 grams.
The source informed, those are the first children of the young mother. She had been delivered to the regional hospital to exclude any possibility of birth difficulty. Leading medics of the region had prepared the future mother for the delivery. Initially Tatiana Repina was expecting only two babies, but the regional hospital found three. According to the source, the news really pleased the young mother.
