Three new schools to open in Gomel region by September 1
Three new schools are supposed to open in Gomel region by September 1.
Representatives of Gomel region education board told BelTA, before the new academic year starts, the education authority plans to commission a secondary school in the village of Domanovichi (Kalinkovichi district) as well as start-up complexes of Krupetskaya kindergarten-school (Dobrush district) and Bolshevik secondary school (Gomel district). The source noted, the new schools will alleviate the burden of other schools in their respective local communities. Besides, modern design and new school equipment will definitely improve the learning process.
The source added, on the whole in the region there are 12 schools, 20 kindergartens and other educational facilities under construction. The funding makes around Br17.5 billion, including Br13.5 billion allocated by the regional budget and Br4 billion – by the national one.
