Transport communication in Gomel oblast has been fully revived last night after the recent blizzard which brought so much snow that it took nearly 70 units of special equipment to clear the roads and motorways, Vadim Kravchenko, general director, communal, repair and construction unitary company Gomelobldorstroi, told BelTA.
About 10mm of precipitations has fallen in Gomel oblast over the last 24 hours. The snow cover reaches 23cm in some areas what is 1,5-2 times more than usually in this time of the year.
There have been no emergency situations in the oblast over the recent 24 hours which might have been cased by bad weather, a representatives of the oblast office of the emergencies ministry reported.
