KYIV, 20 September (BelTA) – Representatives of Ukrainian tourism companies and mass media went on tour to Gomel Oblast on 20 September, BelTA learned from the Embassy of Belarus to Ukraine.
From 20 to 23 September Ukrainian reporters and tourism operators will visit landmarks of Gomel Oblast. Ukrainians will visit the Rumyantsev-Paskevich Palace, the Vetka Folk Art Museum, the Pripyatsky national park, the towns of Turov and Mozyr, the Sputnik recreation complex, the alpine skiing complex, the St. Michael Cathedral, etc. The tour also includes visits to the Jesuit monastery in the village of Yurovichi and the ancient site of primitive men.
The tour is organized by the National Tourism Agency, the Physical Education, Sport and Tourism Department of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee with the assistance of the Belarusian Embassy in Ukraine.
