Youth associations of Belarus and Russia to launch new joint projects
In the near future youth associations of Gomel, Bryansk and Kursk will carry out 11 joint projects.
The projects were adopted at a meeting of representatives of youth associations of the two states in Gomel, head of the department for children’s and youth associations at the Gomel palace of children’s arts “Yunost” Natalia Borovaya told BelTA.
According to her, the most interesting project is the joint Russian-Belarusian Internet newspaper “My Vmeste”. Its authors are young people from Bryansk. It is planned that the newspaper will cover the life of Gomel, Bryansk and Kursk youth. The information for the newspaper will be collected by correspondents of the three regions. The authors believe, the newspaper will facilitate youth contacts.
Besides, Gomel palace of children’s arts “Yunost” will start a project “International Program of Leadership and Voluntarism” developed by young Gomel residents. The project is expected to boost the international volunteer movement and facilitate an exchange of experience in the fields of leadership and voluntarism.
