MINSK, 21 August (BelTA) – Fifty companies and sole traders were named winners and prize holders of Belarus’ Best Businessman 2011 contest. The decision is contained in Decree No.370 of 20 August 2012, BelTA learnt from the presidential press service.
Bielita won in the nomination Best Entrepreneur in Consumer Goods Production. Prize holders in the nomination were named Vitex and Conte Spa (Grodno). The best entrepreneur in food production became foreign private company Coca-Cola Beverages Belarus based in Minsk District, Kolyadichi. Minsk-based Zapagromash was praised as a producer of industrial goods. Olymp-Agro (Uzda District, Deshenka village) was named the best farm. Gomel-based Veza-G became the best company with foreign investments.
Winners and prize holders were also named in the construction, catering, healthcare and tourism sectors.
Under Decree No.370, the Honorary Businessman Diploma was bestowed upon Logoisk Lekpharm and Derzhinsk Intertransekspeditsya.
The Best Businessman of the Year contest is held in Belarus to enhance professionalism and business reputation of companies, develop a positive image of a businessman, encourage business activity among people.
Partaking in the contest are legal persons and sole traders.
