Belarus, China discuss joint projects in transportation
MINSK, 2 March (BelTA) – The terms of Belarus-China investment projects in transportation were discussed at a meeting of Transport and Communications Minister of Belarus Ivan Shcherbo with trade and economic advisor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China to Belarus Liu Xuesun, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Transport and Communications Ministry.
One of the most important projects discussed at a meeting was renovation of the National Airport Minsk. The parties discussed the state of efforts to design construction documents to evaluate the cost and timeframe of the preparatory works. Ivan Shcherbo congratulated representatives of the China Road and Bridge Corporation on the victory in the tender to upgrade a section of the Minsk-Gomel road.
Liu Xuesun emphasized the importance of establishing a Belarus-China coordination body to supervise the construction and renovation works of the National Airport Minsk. “Belarus underlined the significance and relevance of joint projects and the need to complete projects in time,” the press service said.
