Belarus, Kazakhstan to set up joint venture to make confectionery and bakery products
MINSK, 12 November (BelTA) - Belarus and Kazakhstan will set up a joint venture to manufacture confectionery and bakery products, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.
A memorandum of cooperation to set up the joint venture was signed by Gomelkhlebprom and the Management Company Shanyrak following the 9th meeting of the Belarus-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation in Astana.
The meeting of the commission was co-chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Rusyi and Emergencies Minister of Kazakhstan Vladimir Bozhko.
The meeting reviewed the bilateral cooperation in 2012 and outlined promising areas of cooperation in 2013.
