Belarus President confers Spiritual Revival awards

MINSK, 10 January (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko presented Spiritual Revival awards and special prizes for culture and art to 15 representatives of different professions. The awarding ceremony was held in the Palace of the Republic on 8 January, BelTA has learned. The head of state noted that among the prize-holders are physicians and priests, foster families and cultural figures. “They by right can be named true devotees of spirit, giving their strength and talent to the selfless service to their motherland,” he stressed. Addressing the awardees, Alexander Lukashenko said: “I am glad to be the first to congratulate you on these awards. You have deserved them by your selfless labor and impressive results in culture and art, your charitable and social activity. May today’s celebration give you even more energy and enthusiasm, encourage you in new achievements for the sake of happiness and wellbeing of the dear Fatherland”. The Belarusian leader also emphasized: “Christmas is a heartwarming family celebration. I would like to wish you happiness, health, wellbeing and good luck. May success and good mood accompany you, may your dreams come true”.
