Belarus wins medals at European Athletics U-23 Championship in Ostrava
MINSK, 18 July (BelTA) - Belarusian athletes won 5 medals at the European Athletics U-23 Championship in Ostrava, Czech Republic, this past weekend, BelTA was told in the Belarusian Athletics Federation
Alina Talai took the title in the 100m hurdles with the result of 12.91 seconds. Silver medalists were Anastasia Kashtanova (discus throw, 56.25m) and Eduard Mikhan (decathlon, 8,152 points). Bronze went to Oleg Dubitsky (hammer throw, 72.52m) and Yana Maksimova (heptathlon, 6075 points).
Alexander Linnik placed 5th in the 200m, Sergei Kolomoets was 6th in the hammer throw, Anastasia Mironchik-Ivanova 6th in the long jump, Alina Kostrova 6th in the hammer throw, Olga Malevich 8th in the 10,000m, Sergei Platonov 8th in the 5,000m, Sergei Bakhar finished 8th place in the shot put.
