Belarusian, Kazakh companies to partake in Gomel business forum

GOMEL, 6 October (BelTA) – Over 60 Belarusian and Kazakh companies will take part in the business matchmaking session in Gomel on 6 October. The forum will be held as part of the session of the Belarus-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation, BelTA learned from the Gomel office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). Business circles of Kazakhstan are represented by machinery builders and other companies. On Belarus’ behalf, the forum will be attended by manufacturers of agricultural equipment, representatives of forestry, food, processing and other industries. According to the BCCI office in Gomel, the business matchmaking session will open after the meeting of the intergovernmental commission. The business forum will last for two hours. Kazakh businessmen will attend the exhibition of Belarusian products, negotiate with potential partners and agree on further cooperation. Gomel plays host to the 8th session of the Belarus-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation. Kazakhstan’ delegation is led by Emergencies Minister Vladimir Bozhko. The delegation of Belarus is led by Deputy Prime Minister Valery Ivanov. The commission will work till 7 October.
