Gomel to host Belarusian-Russian forum of young journalists 15-16 November
MOSCOW, 8 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian-Russian Forum of Young Journalists “Common vision for the future" will be held in Gomel on 15-16 November, BelTA learnt from the Permanent Committee of the Belarus-Russia Union State.
The forum aims to improve the skills of young journalists, development of professional and international communication, formation of the single media community of Belarus and Russia.
“Work to promote the ideas of the Union State, formation of positive attitude towards integration among the young, promising representatives of the media seems to be very meaningful. The forum can be an important stepping stone towards the single community of young journalists of Russia and Belarus,” the Permanent Committee said.
The organizers of the event are the Information Ministry of Belarus, the Permanent Committee of the Union State, the Belarusian Union of Journalists, BRSM Youth Union, the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee with the support of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus and the Belarusian Embassy in Russia.
