Mozyr workers building Olympic facilities in Sochi

GOMEL, 31 July (BelTA) – Specialists of the civil engineering company OAO Mozyrpromstroy are in Sochi, Russia, building Olympic facilities, the company’s Director General Alexander Shulga told BelTA. A Belarusian team of 50 is building the premises and facilities that make part of the Formula 1 race track. In the near future the company plans to dispatch another 50 specialists to work in Sochi. According to the source, the company intends to continue cooperation with Russian colleagues. At present OAO Mozyrpromstroy, which employs 1,700 people, is in negotiations on home construction in Smolensk Oblast. The people working in Sochi now also include summer student workers from Gomel. In particular, students of the Belarusian State Transport University are building the motorway Adler – the mountain climate resort Alpika Service as well as other roads that make part of the infrastructure for the 2014 Winter Olympics.
