Radunitsa folk group from Gomel to be guest of honor at UNESCO festival in Kaluga
MOSCOW, 20 May (BelTA) – The folk music group “Radunitsa” from Gomel will be guest of honor at the first international festival of traditional culture and crafts Etnoraduga (Ethnorainbow) which opens in Kaluga on 21 May on the World Day of Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development. The group has been awarded such an honorary status due to the fact that this year Gomel has been declared the CIS Capital of Culture, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian Embassy in Russia.
The festival will be supported by the UNESCO Office in Moscow so its participants will be feature the countries that make part of the cluster of the Moscow office of this international organization, namely, Belarus, Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Moldova.
