GOMEL, 6 May (BelTA) – The international universal expo fair Spring in Gomel will take place on 18-21 May, representatives of the Gomel Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry told BelTA.
The expo is the largest one among similar expos in Belarus’ provinces. It is expected to gather over 200 companies from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Italy and other countries. This year the expo will occupy the entire manege of the track and field athletics palace Dynamo – around 3,200 square meters. In the open air visitors will be able to get familiar with products of over 20 companies, including Gomselmash agricultural machines.
The theme of the expo has no restrictions and allows its participants to present the entire range of products used in manufacturing and consumer products. As part of the expo presentations of companies, the newest products and services will be held along with business seminars and negotiations meant to establish and expand cooperation.
Many foreign guests, who are participants of the Gomel Economic Forum that is supposed to take place roughly at the same time, plan to visit the expo Spring in Gomel. In 2009, for instance, the forum gathered 250 officials and businessmen from 22 countries.
