Young singers from Belarus and Russia to participate in Anapa music festival

MOSCOW, 14 August (BelTA) – More than 200 young singers from Belarus and Russia will take part in the Union State’s music festival which will open in the Russian town of Anapa on 17 August, BelTA learnt from the Permanent Committee of the Belarus-Russia Union State. A great carnival will open the festival. And then, it will be held in children’s resorts of Anapa – ‘Zhemchuzhina Kubani’, ‘Primorje’, ‘Chernomorets’, ‘Vita’, ‘Zhemchuzhina Rossii’, ‘Premiera’. Taking part in the festival will be not only novice singers but famous young performers including Andrei Kunets from Minsk, Moscow children’s studio ‘Doctor Watson’ and show-ballet ‘Free Jazz’ from Kaluga. The jury panel will include Irina Dorofeeva, Andrei Bill, Varvara and composer Grigory Gladkov. The festival is organized by the Permanent Committee of the Belarus-Russia Union State, the Parliamentary Assembly of Belarus and Russia, the culture ministries of Belarus and Russia. The festival will be running through 23 August.
